Wedding Barn Party at Beltane Ranch

A Post-Pandemic Celebration

This couple was meant to get married soon after COVID became a thing. We all know how that story ends. They went ahead with the formalities, but the rest of the event was put on pause. They had a child, got busy growing a business, and it wasn’t until 2025 that they decided it was finally time to gather friends and family to celebrate.

What’s great about this scenario is the lack of pressure. They are already married. They can change things up, party before the ceremony, and relax.

Relaxed is the word for this pre-ceremony barn party. Beltane Ranch in Sonoma is a place that has come to mean a lot to this family, their weekend getaway from the hustle of their San Francisco lives. They know the staff, they stay in the same room every time, and their toddler treats it like a second home.

That sense of ease permeated everything, and the evening unfolded as if this were a group of people who spent every Saturday night together at Beltane Ranch, drinking Champagne in the shadows of the oaks, roasting marshmallows beneath a full moon, and watching their kids dance their hearts out to Twang Ditty, while the horses tried to sneak a bite of dinner through the split rail fence.
