“It not only felt natural…but we all really enjoyed ourselves. There was a great balance of letting us just do our thing, but also giving us some direction.”

FAQs

We live in such an incredible place full of stunning beachy, coastal, and forest locations. I am always open to exploring new places, or I can share suggestions. There is an additional travel fee for anything beyond 30 minutes from me.

Weekends in the city are really busy, so if you can meet on a weekday, we are likely to find more privacy and space. I charge $100 extra for weekend sessions.

Most of the outdoor images on my website look the way they do partly because they were taken early or late in the day, within a few hours of sunrise or sunset. We will fine-tune your session start time based on date and location.

I offer a small selection of quality products for purchase from directly within your gallery. These are the same products I use in my own home. My two favorites are the upcycled wood frames I make myself, and these glass photo boxes filled with fine art prints.

Don’t stress, and expect me to quietly continue taking pictures. When we deal with adversity as a family we lean on our deepest connections to each other, and it’s beautiful!

If my schedule is clear, I’d love to! When added to a family session package, my hourly rate is $300.

Family session packages cover kids, pets, and their parents. My style is about telling the entire story, so any more than that and we need to budget more time. I charge an additional $50 for each extended family member.

I love when families bring their pets. Know that things will be a little more chaotic and it is really important to think through the experience with your pet specifically.

We need a pet-friendly location and likely want to avoid crowded or distracting spaces. An in-home & backyard session or a weekday at Fort Funston can both work well for pets.

Let’s chat over the phone about your pet and your family.

I try to use discretion and show the utmost respect when sharing, and most of my clients are happy to help me promote my small business through their images. But if you’d rather not, I totally respect that. For a small additional fee, I am happy to keep your images private.
